Please help,
I'm not sure how to go about this.
But I can't afford to Purchase My meds anylonger.
I have a few plants in a premature phase.
So I am working on being self sufficent.
I have money to cover cost and would love to but 300 an oz is not gonna work.
If anyone can help or direct me to the person who can help out.
I apreciate your time and have a great day.

~Warm joyful wishes~
I am very glad your working on your own self sufficency! That is truly the best option in most cases. Caregivers are easy to find but good ones there are not enough. The current laws make things very difficult in this aspect. Come to meetings and network with folks but as in anything in life that is important to rely on yourself is best!
$300. sounds like Black market prices owieeeee. I am glad your here with OGF cause you will do way better then BM. Reimbursement is way lower and many of us are able to donate free from time to time.

First off, it sounds as if you are looking for a Person Responsible for a Marijuana Growsite (PRMG) or Grower, they could also be a caregiver and or a patient. The best way is to meet one at a meeting or by
networking. If you know of someone who wants to become one and has never done it before you are looking at at least 4 yo 5 months for the production of the medicine alone. If you are fortunate enough to find someone who is already experienced that time could be considerably shorter or even in the most extreme cases instantaneous.
Before you registrar a person with the Department of Human Services, you should meet and come to an agreement, put it in writing, and then register with the OMMP.
Sometimes at meeting or through our website if you are a verified OGF member you may find access to free
excess and other arrangements are strictly between individual cardholders.
Go to OGF meetings . . . all regional Chapters engaged in physical meetings post them on our Calendar.
Take OGF classes . . . meet people there.
Attend OGF Events and Programs.
Network, become a paid verified OGF Member, Cardholders are more comfortable helping other Cardholders
Get involved and help through volunteerism the Chapter closest to you.

i agree, get to a meeting. Theres lots of great folks here to help steer you in the right direction. Come out and meet some of them. Also becoming a paid member is not just a way to get access to the private cardmember areas, but it's also a way to help support our growing community and resources. Hope to meet you soon,
respect, rastamama

It helps people who may live near you IF you edit your profile to include the city name. Other wise we dont have any idea of where you may be. There are chapters all over the state: check out the list of forums by location and go to the closest meeting. Check the calendar for dates and PM or post in that forum for directions. I joined OGF right after the THCF clinic. Only 2 days after getting the paper work - I had 2 clones and 2 grams of meds from friends I met at the meeting. Be out going. Are you wanting to grow for yourself? Make friends with growers and get busy. I help out newbie growers and help them get a crop in. Then pay it forward. Become a friend and you will gai friends. Welcome.

This is especially true if you are a patient who is unable to get out in the real world very much....like me http://www.oregongreenfree.us/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif

Thanks for posting this, Sensamility. As soon as I saw the title I knew it was a winner.
I'm doing the same thing and DANGIT! A manual would be real nice right about now! LOL
I'd like to become independent, but I'm not sure how that works with Section 8 housing. I have the feeling the Feds would not be too happy to be funding 70% of the rent on a grow site, but that could just be me. I've got to find out for sure, in any case.
I've been to an OGF meeting and a NORML cardholders meeting. Both places had very generous people who were very helpful. So yeah, I guess I'm adding to the chorus recommending that you try meetings.
Good luck in your search for a caregiver/grower/whatever!
Warmly,
Marcella

Warmly,
Marcella[/b]Madfinger can answer this question pretty well I think. I do know we have members in section 8 that grow.
The best thing to do is become self sufficient. If you do not know how to do this we have classes that take you from learning how to clone to harvesting and curing your plants. OGF is a fountain of knowledge and a community of wonderful people helping each other.

Hi Marcella,
I heard a funny line in a movie, it's : The feds are like mushrooms, you keep them in the dark, and you feed them full of shit. I wouldn't let people know I was Sect. 8 at all, if I was growing in the Sect.8 home. Good luck.
