Yeppers got my son's wedding out of the way and a little time now to share. Sooo lets get these classes going, been getting lots of pm's from folks interested in attending.

1st class will be:

Date and time
November 30th class begins at 7:00 pm doors will be open at 6:30pm the class will last till 8:30 pm

Location is the OGF building known as the "big blue".

Cost will be a sliding scale starting with; #1. $8. for non OGF members
#2. $6. for OGF members #3. $4. for OGF members that commit to 10 classes #4. Donate some time to OGF if you can't afford it.

What to wear or bring: Mainly an open mind! Loose clothing, a yoga mat if ya have 1 but not imperative, and a blanket would be good.

This is a 1st class so its for beginers but will include some advanced concepts. The class will be taylored to individules ablilities also meaning if your in a wheelchair its not a problem.

I am a certified teacher in 2 forms of Yoga and 3 forms of Qi gong with over 35 years of experience. They will be very fun informative class's.

If you have a medical card bring it so during social time you have access to that area of the building.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm I think that pretty well covers the most of it. If you have general questions go ahead and post it here in the forum so others with the same questions get the benifits. If you have a personal quesiton you can pm me.

Looken forward to seeing you all there.

Shabad, is Qi gong the same as tai chi? I've wanted to study tai chi for many years since i was a kid. I've never found the opportunity to tho. I really wish we didnt live all the way out here in the tundra.

Tai Chi is the mother of all martial arts! Its a wonderful healing routine that takes many years to get fully. Qi Gong is the heart of Tai Chi and is much easier to learn and has the same healing benifits.

Qi Gong is basically a Chinese form of yoga with a lot of visualization included.

Nice question infin!!

Hi Shabad! Didn't I hear you say that you'd be teaching yoga classes next week? If so, could I have the date(s) and time(s) again, please?

I'd like to come, but it'll depend (like everything does) on how I feel that day. It helps that I know (intellectually) that I'll probably feel better when I leave. That should be some motivation to make the 2+ hour commute (one way) on MAX!

Thanks for your generous gift of teaching. I'm sure a lot of patients -- and their caregivers -- will benefit greatly from the yoga and qi gong. That is, if they just take the classes! ^_^

Much warmth,
Marcy ^_^
