I CALL BULLLSHIT!
IMHO treatment facilities are creating a problem to make money from non-developed treatment for addiction....its the little "blue pill" to help you through the withdrawals. countless studies reveal, if any symptoms of withdrawal occur they are non-existent to mild. why do we need to BUY a pharmaPill to help us when a problem does not exist?

no, its not...unless you mean "scam" being conducted by the PharmaCo's...this is the very same drug my doc asked me if i wanted to try and use to stop smoking.....its an anti-seizure drug that has "curious side effects" and clinical trials have shown that it stops cravings. it tells your brain you have "no desire" for whatever you are addicted to/have cravings for.
i said, thanks but no-thanks

Thank you for posting this!!

I am sure some of you realize that taking anti seizure meds can and do make people go into seizures??
Some people with seizures do not realize they are predestined to have them. Such as the fella driving down the road, takes this type of pharmaceutical medication to stop smoking and whame, he goes into a seizure, and god forbid he gets into a wreck killing himself, or someone else!!
After telling a doctor I used to have about my history of seizures, she put me on welbutrin to get me off the ciggies. Like all medications "they" put me on I looked up the drug on the computer. The web site I went to in big red flashing warning sign said do not take if you EVER had a seizure.......

These so called doctors are pushing a drug they are being paid to push by these big pharmaceutical companies. They do not care necessarily about the patient. They have a quota, and need to fill this quota.

Next time you are at your doctors and the drug rep. is there, listen in on there conversation with your doctor!! You can learn a lot!!
