When doing a search on here it will ask you if you want to search by title.

If you want to talk about soil or nutrients or medical issues for instance, if you put a proper topic in the thread title it will show up on the searches much better.

Meaning it should show up by title and by content when our members do a search.

Also if you want someone to look at your new thread, putting a good title on it will draw folks to read it.

Titles that are LOOK here.... or GEE.... or WOW... are common, in fact there are dozens and maybe even hundreds of them, and they quickly get buried and are more difficult to search for once they go to the archives.

So just a heads up as we are all sharing information, to try to put a good title that will tell what you are concerned with and will be found more easily by our members.

As a moderator we can edit your thread titles to help the site be more informational to our members. You got a good idea, we WANT everyone to see it, YOU have a question, WE want to give you the answers you are seeking....info to share...we want our members to see it.

Thanks for sharing all the great information here and making this a great community!!

Bump!!! Please give your posts DESCRIPTIVE titles. Its so annoying to have non-descriptive titles for your posts and messes up some of the search features. A lot of people won't click on your post just to see what it is about if its a bad title.

How about we keep the titles and the posts in the English language as well?
