Will someone please inform me what the green room is about? How to get into it? Also wondering about security. i have been a cardholder for many years. Thanks.

Oregon Green Free's "Green Room" is a hidden forum which can only be seen and acessed after you submit a copy of your card and ID to "The Green Room Guy". Only verified card holders are allowed in the room. It is a little assurance that who you are interacting with is also a cardholder. The green room is a place to discuss meds, growing methods, and the like.
There is a subscription fee for this service. It can be payed in $5 monthly installments or at the yearly rate of $60.00.

Now why in the world would I "SUBMIT" a copy of my card and I.D. to anyone! I am not really into creating a paper trail ya know? Is there another way to get it verified??? I have no problem showing it to someone, as I require it prior to talking to anyone about medical marijuana, but to send someone I do not know a copy of it is ridiculous!!! Why not ask strangers to come into your grow room for a look around. The fee is another issue. Why do I need to pay for security? Isnt that supposed to be free?

Tell me the difference between paying for access to a network where I can possibly obtain medical marijuana plants, equipment, etc, and going into a cannabis club/dispensary and just purchasing it outright? According to Oregon legislature, cannabis clubs are NOT allowed under Oregon Law. I can see a fee for joining a site, and entire site, but not for the networking of obtaining meds, etc through a private area. That is basicly charging people for safe access to MMJ, not for the services of website upkeep and server costs.

Now please dont get me wrong, I have heard some good about this group, It just dosent add up to me why I would first of all give up me personal security, then pay someone to have it! Ya know? There are a ton of other true FREE forums out there that require no submission of personal paperwork. What makes this site so special for me to risk my security. Although we are all legal in what we do in this state, it is not looked upon very well by the federal Govt. and several arrests have been made by the feds here in Oregon where patients were in fact within #'s. Some people who are well within thier #s and the law may still have somthing to hide, like $10,000 in grow equipment, the allowed 6 lbs of meds at a grow site of 4 patients, thier children, thier personal posesions, etc. Not all people hiding somthing are hiding somthing illegal. As mentioned, before I joing this group and offer what i have to other people, please awnser a few of my questions. I will do all I can to help patients even paying for a way to reach them as I am a firm believer in karma.
i look forward to a few responses from the folks here. As mentioned, I am in no way trying to flame this forum nor put it down in any way. Just doing my part in making sure this is a safe site.
