I just wanted to say that I hope all our friends and members who are near rivers and streams are doing OK this afternoon.

Hi,
I was just standing where the Willamette and Clackamas Rivers come together and it is really roaring along! The smaller Clackamas looks faster. It might be moving more than 20 mph. Just by my guesstamation.
The Willamette was deep right away. I used about a 5' stick and it didn't touch. I stayed back a foot or two, so who knows how deep it was,lol. I could just see the bank giving away. There was a couple family's with little kid's that were just as close to the river.

Thank goodness it stopped raining a little. I was getting ready to go out and buy ark parts.

Is this weird weather? I have only lived in Oregon for a little over a year. last year it rained a lot too. It rained for months last year. What makes this rain worse than months of rain? I'm with yoy sequoia. I just LOVe storms. Harsh rains and snows are so beautiful.
