I have been noticing a lot of thread topics with extremely boring and non descriptive titles. I (and many others) just skip over these. If you want your thread read, I highly suggest creating an accurate and descriptive GIST of what your thread is about. You will undoubtedly receive more attention and help.
Here are some made up examples:
Poor: "I want to know"
Good: "How do you know if you have mites?"
Poor: "What to do?"
Good: "Help! I've got mites!"
Poor: "Where to get"
Good: "Where can I get Avid?"

I EDIT titles that are actually good threads, but who the heck will read em?
"OMG"
OMG...I got mites! would be better.
What's this?
What's this bug? .....would be better, especially when the bug got identified....I will add the bug to the title when it is confirmed.
Yes people will read em if they are not so
