We are happy to announce the special speaker for February 17th is our own hyb.! He will be there to talk about his table method of growing, what you need to get ready for the upcoming outdoor season and to field your questions! We appreciate his taking time to come and share his knowlege with us as he is revving up for his busy season as he owns a large nursery but is very serious about helping people become successful gardeners for themselves and for their patients. I hope our other trusted OGF resources Kellyjohndog and Harrad will be there for you to talk to as well as they provide electrical and carpentry talents to many OGF gardeners. If you ever considered growing for yourself, this will be something not to miss!
on edit: Harrad and kellyjondog have confirmed they will be there! woo hoo!
The address is 13125 SW Hall Blvd in Tigard. It is in the Town Hall room there in the main City Building. We will begin at 12:30.
We will also be gathering input for next month's meeting with Lee Berger, the tireless Portland Lawyer who has done so much for this community including being a driving force that brought you the OMMP. We will be explaining April meeting and how you can be involved. Badfootyu50 and berserker101 will be grilling up some dogs out in the coutyard during the break! They will also be talking about a very busy upcoming social events calendar! And of course ClozetGrl will have some excellent things to raffle off!
This will be a great meeting for everyone! Can't wait to see you there!
A reminder that 4 of the 5 Senators on the committee that heard Senate Bill 465, the one that will allow discrimination against patients, are from our West side and South side and today would be a great day to call them. They work for you!

great idea if it is OK with the presenter and we were careful not to record any of the members there as many have expressed their desire not to be photographed or videotaped....
I am stoked as Harrad has also agreed to be there so you can meet him and get your electrical set up for your garden in good order. He will be bringing some stuff and his rates are fantastic. Kellyjohndog will also be there and he has very good rates for OGF members to help you build these tables or help create or improve your garden site.
looking forward to seeing you there!

Daniel, Madfingers and Sequoia are working on this now. I have a few people willing to show up. Most have no computer so they have no idea about OGF, so word of mouth is what I'm using at this time. Hoping to get enough bodies to make a decent Chapter.
Some of the folks I have tentaveley lined up to attend the first meeting include; a carpenter,an electricion, computer service provider and repair man, Pro. painter, and several others that i'm sure have a talent to share.
Yeah, the numbers are here, but to get 'em all together is another venture to say the least!
My foot is ready for that first step.

Yes I will be there, I am working on a comprehensive affordable plan and material list for the Table needed in the Hyb Method.
I will gladly help people build and set up their table and provide any other carpentry services needed, at the OGF discount of course.
I look forward to the meeting.
See you all there.

Yeah BoxofRain, that's the way to walk it! If you need help with anything pm me, and I know there are patients in the area who would love to attend an OGF Chapter meeting. Madfingers and Sequoia well you can't get better generals than that...onward onward!

What a fantastic meeting on the most beautiful sunny day! I just got back and wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone for making it a success. First of all thanks to badfootyu50 and berserker101 for setting up a lunch stand so I didn't have to wait until now to eat breakfast/lunch! I think a lot of people will concur on this one! Thanks to clozetgrl and growing4you for the great raffle! Thanks Harrad and Kellyjohndog for being there and sharing their expertise as well as their willingness to make sure cardholders who want to grow do it safely! Thanks to big stevo and FREEB1RD for running the clone exchange and all who participated! Thanks to all of you who showed up! It was great to see the new chapter leaders from the Eugene chapter as well as many new friends and old faces!
Most of all I would really like to thank hyb.!!!!! His passion about cultivating the highest quality cannabis medicine is very apparent. He was an excellent speaker and probably only got through half of what he had prepared so we are very lucky he will be returning in April to talk about outdoor season - you do not want to miss that! I appreciate his dedication to the medical grower and their patients - he is a wonderful resource in our community and I feel lucky he came and spoke to us today. Thanks again hyb.!
I am more stoked up than ever at how simple and rewarding growing your own medicine can be!
