As time permits, I will be creating some tutorials for common questions on how to use certain functions of this website. If you have an idea, please post it and I will see what I can do.

Hey CroNix, great idea! I saw the how to post pics thread and thought I would add somthing... One of the problems I had was getting the pics the right size. I know it takes differant programs to do that, but maybe a basic tutorial is possible? Thanks...

Ill see what I can do. I can make something using 'MS Paint' that comes with every windows xp system, but if people have installed other graphics software it could make the steps different, which is why I didn't include it.

I use TheGimp (http://www.gimp.org/) for all my graphics work. It's available for all platforms as far as I'm aware and its free.

i would like you to show... how to erase your attachments.
like my amount is getting to much, how do i... get rid of some attachments, so i would have extra space for more, in the future?
there used to be a box next to them, and you could delete them, but we cant do it anymore...
thanks.

Click on your user control panel (top menu bar on left).
There will be a menu bar on the left side.
Find Miscellaneous / Attachments
You can delete them from there.

There should be a bunch of check boxes on the right side, and at the bottom on the right a delete button. Just select the one(s) that you want to delete and click delete.

Can you try this please?
Just make a test post with a new attachment, then go to the user control panel and see if you can delete that one.
I just logged in as a verified user (not admin) and was able to do this, so if it works for you for your new one and not your old ones I would like to know.
Thanks

How does one go about searching out the older posts here at OGF?? I've gone into the advanced search asking to 'Find Posts from [A Year Ago] [and Older]', but it only seems to go back to '06 or so. I don't want to bug people with questions that have been answered before, so any help is most appreciated.
