TURN ON YOUR PM'S!

I've tried to PM a few members, and about half of you give the following message...

The following errors were found

This message can not be sent because the recipient has their personal messenger disabled or their personal messenger inbox is full.

This personal message has not been sent

And that is done by...

Clicking on the "My Controls" above.
Then look under the menu on the left for options. Hit the "Board Settings"
Then make sure it says "NO" in the box under Personal Messagenger Options

Thanks for the reminder pSteve.

I have been trying to pm another member but get the message that his pm is off or his folder is full.

So everybody needs to double check their pm settings.

I have tried it also but it said I could not use the PM feature. It may be the 35 post count thing. Sure would be nice if it was working now as this slows me down.

to save a copy in the (sent items) folder...go down, below the "message box" and click on the little box that you want to "add a copy of this message to my sent items folder". you have to do that with eack pm.

This is a whole NEW bright and shiny OGF! In the beginning we all had pm privledges and unfortunately we had to take steps to protect our members from trolls. It seemed that you might have a little glimpse of folks after 35 posts.

Let us know if you are bothered by folks trying to sell you the moon and stars and strange brews, and we will try to help you out.

It's always good to meet new people face to face at OGF Meetings. Networking we call it.
Some fine relationships have been built here safely and in privacy after folks meet up.
Our meetings provide such an atmosphere for making those kinds of decisions.

So post away and turn on those PM's so that you can contact old friends and make NEW ones too!
