December ACMM quarterly meeting 12-12-07

The regular quarterly ACMM meeting is scheduled for

December 12, 2007
from 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

I am concerned about two other items and hope the transportation issue (important yes!) does not overshadow the MATURE DEFINITION changes we hope to get heard and on the agenda. That 12 inch rule is the a bad definition for maturity. NO plant in the world of horticulture/botany has SIZE as the basis of maturity.

I also hope the DHS/OMMP staff provides minutes of the last meeting and agenda copies for the audience. It helps US keep up to date on the finer points being made. WE shall see..... I KNOW how to get the minutes....but very few OMMP participants have access to them. WE need to know what is going on at those meetings. I wish they were available ONLINE too.

Please show up if you are having problems with the 12 inch rule for growing, or want to watch what the ACMM actually does.

I miss very few of these ACMM meetings, but due to the storm doing some damage over here, we are having some work done to the house and I will not be able to attend this one...However I urge everyone whom can make it to get up and go....and I look forward to hearing about the numbers in attendance....peace, big stevo:rolleyes:

Well, MM (Madeline Martinez)just got off the phone with the OMMP Mgr. and reports that the

proposed bad language regarding plants, etc. to be only allowed at the
registered
grow site (which would have made transport v. tricky), has been
removed from
the administrative rules

i would reccomend the lot.

i really wish we could make it, but lance,(husband) is back in hospital today to get more chemo. 3 days worth...:(
