I met a bunch from this group when I was camping 2 summers ago at Barton Park near Oregon City. I have a list of diagnosis' and medications a mile long, and have finally talked to my Primary Care Physician about medicinal use of Canibis. He supports the idea, and thinks it would be a wonderful route for me to go, although this is where I am in need of some help. I need the name of a few doctors on the WA side of the border (Vancouver area) that my doctor could refer me to. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and I hpoe to make some new friends here. Thanks everyone!

~Warm joyful wishes~

The THC clinic has doctors licensed in Washington. Just take your chart notes there and they will fix you up!

Hi B_G
If your Dr. supports the use of this herb and is licensed in Wa. all you need is a letter signed by him/ger and you are good to go/grow.

Here is the web addy of some Wa. folks I met at Hempstalk this year that might be of help.

www.cannabismd.org

Hope that helps

Hi all, I'm from SW Washington too, Vancouver, just across the line and I haven't been able to any real resources in Washington myself.
I've been on orthopedic SS dissabilty for 15 years and have just started as a patient with Kaiser Permanente but have been told it's not
corp policy for any of their docs to sign. I'm going to end up seeing the thc-foundation in Portland myself, they also see patients in Belveiw
near Seattle. Good Luck, wish we had a group like OGF in Washigton..

:yahoo: Welcome brendgard_girl' , I wasn't one you met at Barton Park near Oregon City, but just the same, I sympathize with a list of meds I don't even want to intoduce into my body... mmj works the best , and thats the largest truth on this site. Your having the same problem I'm having with doctors with open minds, who don't treat you as a criminal when you ask for their signiture on the old OMMP application. I know thats why I have not renewed again since last year '05, Also my Lower Lumbar colapsed due to degeneration and I was Hospitalized and had my surgery in Dec. , I'm on the recovery train and in a lot of pain, but I have to tuff it out my things are packed to move in late spring or early summer , hopefully able to do the job. I'm moving to Coos County, Coquille, where I have whats left of my family, my sister and the access to clinics by Voter Power , A subsideary of Mamas clinic in pdx. I need a place closer to my final home to get a registration packet signed by a doctor and get back to growin. I am going to buy a house, finally, my own house, I've retired due to my disability, and they owe me, so its time to leave the kids a house in the coastal foothillls, where Dad can grow his herbs, and eating herbs cause I love to cook. Thats the Italian in me.
Am, looking forward to it all, but still don't know how it will ever get done. Anticipation the song comes to mind...
Enough about me ... brendgard_girl' You'll do fine, keep comming back to the site, even daily, I learn more here from folks who live closer than Europe, and live in the same laws , and communities, accumulating freinds, and lifting my spirits which I hope can be the same for you....Peace my friend :bigemo_harabe_net-154:  :bigemo_harabe_net-185: :bigemo_harabe_net-178: :bigemo_harabe_net-159:
